Jerry W. Ford
President and Founder
Jerry Ford is the President and founder of Ford & Associates, Inc. and oversees all of the firm's advisory business. He has over 30 years of experience as an advisor, investment banker, and credit analyst. Prior to founding Ford & Associates in 1998, he served as head of public finance in Florida for one of the largest privately held investment banks in the U.S. and at one of the largest commercial banks in the Southeast.
Before entering the finance industry, Mr. Ford was a senior consultant with Booz, Allen, and Hamilton Applied Research in Washington, D.C., providing financial and economic analysis to military research and development programs. He also served in the Office of the Secretary, U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, developing financial models and measurement systems for various government programs and agencies.
Mr. Ford served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board from 2016 through 2020. He is an active member of his community and is a graduate of Leadership Tampa. He holds a master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California.

William S. Reed
Senior Vice President
Mr. Reed joined Ford & Associates in 2007 and has expertise in assisting municipalities, school districts, senior living facilities, private schools, and non-profit organizations with all phases of debt issuance. Mr. Reed has worked on developing muti-issue ESG financing programs for municipal issuers, including interfacing with Second Party Opinion providers in the green-bond space. Mr. Reed has managed short and long-term financings sold via competitive and negotiated public offering, as well as on the procurement of direct lending structures.
Mr. Reed is originally from Mystic, Connecticut and resides in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is a graduate of Leadership St. Pete and an avid sailor. Mr. Reed has a bachelors degree in Economics from Trinity College. He is a registered Municipal Advisor (Series 50).

Jonathan W. Ford
Senior Vice President
Mr. Ford entered the public finance industry in 2007 and joined Ford & Associates in 2012. His experience includes water and sewer, public power, K-12 and higher education, municipal infrastructure, and non-profit financing. He has worked on hundreds of tax-exempt and taxable borrowings for borrowers ranging from large state agencies to small towns and school districts. Mr. Ford specializes in developing financing structures that simplify or increase the overall efficiency of his clients.
Mr. Ford has a bachelors degree in Economics from Trinity College (Hartford, CT). Mr. Ford is a graduate of Leadership Tampa, a member of the Rotary Club of Tampa and is an avid rower and fisherman.
